Effects of an Exercise and Sport Intervention Among Refugees Living in a Greek Refugee Camp

Doing sports is known to be healthy for our bodies and minds. Markus Gerber, Professor at the University of Basel takes the effects of sports onto a new level by conducting an Exercise and Sport Intervention among refugees living in a Greek Refugee Camp. His project adresses the trauma people live daily in their experience as refugees and whether a sport and exercise intervention can reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.
